Davera Ackenbom

We need to know who will be riding their own horse and who would like to ride one of Sally’s.

If you are planning on riding one of Sally’s horses she needs to see you at both practices. Let Davera or Sally know ASAP who needs a horse to ride and hopefully before the first practice. They are compiling a list of qualified horses needed in order to match you to your mount. Selection of mounts happens at the practices. You will need time to practice on and bond with your mount.

You are welcome to choose teams if you like. It is important to remember the horses ability to work together will establish the final teams.

At the Show

Hunt night at Warrenton is the only show in Va that Va Hunts can gather to participate and represent fox hunting. It is less about competition and more about the support and camaraderie of our sport. There will be an area set aside for all hunt clubs to gather. Everyone is asked to participate in the pot luck as well as join together as clubs to create friendships in sharing the common bond of fox hunting.
