Show Your Bling Trailride! Everyone is welcome.

Riders are encouraged to wear their bright, shiny, sparkling outfits and tack on this fun ride.  Awards will be presented at the Bar B Que after the ride for the Horse and Rider showing off the most Bling!

Trail Info: Self-guided, Marked trails - 5 or 12 mile options. Coffee, juice, donuts, protein bars and fruit  available at the check-in station. Two refreshment stations will be available on the trail with water, fruit and snacks.  Streams on trails for horses.  Shoes or hoof protection is recommended for horses. There will be some small mountain trails and some gravel areas. Bar B Que Chicken Dinner with all the “fixins” will begin at 3:00pm and last till 5:00pm.  All trailers should leave parking area by 6:00pm. No dogs, smoking or alcohol allowed on the trails.  Any dogs in parking area must be leashed. 

Time: Gates to parking area will open at 8:00am.  Riders may go out on the trail at 9:00am.  All riders must be out on the trail by 12:00pm.

Location: Locust Hill Preserve - 8070 N James Madison Hwy, Rapidan, VA - Water for horses will be available in the parking area

Cost:

  • Pre-entries - $60 Adults (13 and over), $50 for 12 and under, and $20 for non-riders, all tickets include lunch. - DUE BY WEDNESDAY MAY 15
  • Post-Entries/Gate tickets (if space available, CASH ONLY) - $70 Adults (13 and over), $60 for 12 and under, and $20 for non-riders, all tickets include lunch

Current Negative Coggins MUST be displayed on dashboard of truck before heading out on trail.

HELMETS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL RIDERS, REQUIRED FOR JUNIORS.

In case of inclement weather, please call the Hunt Monitor at (540) 829-8353  before heading out in case we need to change the time or location of the ride!
